Other people have said this toy lasted when others didn't, well this toy didn't last at all! At least she spit the pieces out. The same day I gave it to her she actually was starting to pull the little bumps off. Not sure if I will keep letting her play with it but she obviously needs something to chew on. It is pretty hard and well made, a little flexible in the middle.
